After being called crazy by the owner, I was kicked off the property. Not sure what happened with communications but I can share some "rules" that were not expressed to me clearly. The owner does not allow teeing off after 11am and will not let you play other disc golf courses on the same day. This is the 2nd time I've had to post this review. Be careful what you say to the owner, he can be sensitive.

Unreal course. Absolute must play if you are in the area. We came in from Charlotte and rich and his wife were extremely accommodating. This is in my top 3 courses of all time and we will be back.

One of the best disc golf experiences I’ve ever had. An amazing, challenging course with wide shot variety and unbelievable views. The course owner is a cool dude and sets up free snacks on one of the holes. The thin mints kept me going.

I can't speak highly enough about my experience today. This is an absolutely epic course with epic shots on epic holes that you want to throw again and again. To add the hospitality of Rich and his family is a real gift to the disc golf community. I cannot suggest this course highly enough and if anyone were to say otherwise, they are quite frankly just wrong.

Absolute must-play if you're in the area. One of the most scenic courses in the country. Creative holes and we'll designed, great baskets, tees, signage, etc. Took more pictures than shots. Incredible hospitality from the owners.

Very fun course to play. Was not very long but technical and the elevation waaaay made up for it. Definitely a unique course. Bring your hiking boots. The scenery was second to none. Plus all the rock formations. And Rich was very cool. Stay Grateful Sugaree (shake it shake it )

This course reminds me of some classic New England disc golf. Elevation galore, tight wooded fairways, and some thrilling greens to putt on.

Phenomenal disc golf. Signature hole after signature hole that tests all your shots without being overly difficult. An absolute must play. Rich was the friendliest guy you’ll ever meet and treated us almost like family. I cannot recommend this course enough.

This is the most beautiful course in Western North Carolina. Absolutely dazzling property with rocks and boulders with some of the most gorgeous hole placements in the world. Gracious and wonderful hosts who have created a true gem. Bit of a drive from Asheville, but worth every mile.

Simply amazing. Every shot shape and throw type required, (at least when playing the full Monty) - epic views and unique features on nearly every hole make this a destination course for me. Just be sure to pack lots of snacks and water in your bag, it’ll be a long round and your legs will get quite a workout.

Absolutely spectacular course and property. A true work of art masterpiece. The Augusta National of disc golf perhaps. 2nd time here, shot +3 on the Full Monty. I’ll be back for those 3 strokes. Thanks again to the hosts!!

Absolutely a blast!! Technical lines with great elevation changes, while it may still be a little primitive as far as tee pads and signage the holes make up for it. Amazing rock formations and a Christmas tree farm create such a fun landscape to play disc golf in. The hosts are are super nice and helpful, they even have on site camping! I recommend you check this place out!

This is by far my Top Favorite courses in North Carolina! (Out of the 420+ NC courses I’ve played.) The rock formations and basket placements are jaw dropping. This course has the most incredible terrain and beauty in all of North Carolina! I rated “Course Beauty” as 20 on a scale of 10! Be prepared for a mountain hike, but play all 30 holes. There are some stunning views, and the owners are super nice! Sugaree is a true destination course that is worth driving 12 hours to play and then going home!

One of the most beautiful and unique courses I've had the good fortune of playing. Challenging holes and fantastic hosts. A must-play if you get the opportunity!
