I’m sure TX State has a print shop, and an engineering school, print up some tee signs and lay down some tee pads, label the baskets and and a few directional signs and done. The rugged terrain and the elevations are part of the character, so it doesn’t need much after that. "

"The entire course needs new signs as well as teebox’s. If I did not have UDisc handy I would’ve been very confused where to go. Perhaps put big reflective tape in the basket telling players where the next tee box is. The grass needs to be cut for greens/fairways. It’s a pretty challenging course because of the little margin for error if you’re an experienced player. Careful if you’re by any fences or roads."

"I like this course, a mix of open and wooded, uphill and down. Tee boxes are a little under par, and missing some signs. There is a stretch near the end where the holes feel a littl redundant and could be tweaked to make different shots."

"We followed the layout on UDisc which actually had us starting on what was marked on course signage as hole #3 // Other than that we really enjoyed the diversity of the course; loads of elevation changes; lots of technical shots; an entire first section through the trees that had my son and I thoroughly whipped :) Fun course would absolutely play again; don’t bother bringing a cart, would be tough going in several sections "

"TxState has been my home course for the past 4 years, and I’ll miss it dearly. This is a 21 hole tight, technical course. It’ll really challenge your technique but is very rewarding. Some holes are gimmes, but some are deceiving and will really challenge your accuracy. Good variety of shots, Plenty of Ace runs (5,8,11,12,14) If you’re going to play, park in SPEC garage it’ll cost you $5 weekdays, but it’s well worth it. It’s a must if you’re in the area.
