Course is challenging but very fun. The layout is great but the tee boxes could use just a little upkeep.

Loved the variety of shots and the views. The terrain provides a great workout and challenging throws. I played late in the fall the colors were amazing and I would like to play again in the early spring.

Lots of people hating on this course because it’s TOUGH. The people saying there aren’t lines to baskets on this course are incredibly salty. Every hole has a defined fairway and a defined way to get to the basket. The lines are just tough to hit. Some of the fairways are rugged but welcome to Virginia. This course is one of the best true wooded courses I’ve ever played. It’s hard but fun and extremely rewarding when you play well on it.

This property is amazing but the course itself is very rough around the edges. Not worth going out of your way to play but worth dropping by if you happen to be in the area. With a couple work days with a handful of people the fairways and paths between holes could be cleared of big rocks and debris to help with navigability and aesthetics. The challenging lines are fun and rewarding when hit but a few could use a couple more trees cut down for a more defining fairway. Overall a good course that has potential to be great with some attention to detail.

The course is pretty fun. A lot of elevation change. The course could use a little more variety in shot shape. Tee areas had some wood that was starting to bow a little and a lot of the turf tees are pretty lumpy. This course would have a really really nice view near the tee of 17 with one or two days of tree clean up. Over all the course was pretty good

This course just needs a little love and a little more thought into the shot shapes then it will be very good. Some of the holes are just not realistic shot shapes and just need to have a little TLC as far as shaping the fairways and the rough. Too much poison ivy to go off the fairways.

Lots of trash scattered and the numbers for the holes get very confusing. One sign says it is hole 15 but aanother sign says it is hole 16. Little confusing. Fun course regardless!

It’s a really fun course with a lot of difficult lines. Make sure to bring a drink because you will be tired fast.

The best wooded course I’ve ever played. It’s seriously 100% wooded, tight gaps everywhere. I would also recommend being in pretty good hiking shape, this is a very difficult course to walk. I’m definitely making the 50 min drive again.

Extremely wooded course with tight lines. Tee shots seem to favor RHBH throws. Holes are relatively short but very tricky and rewarding when played correctly. The signage is good and the platform tee pads on many holes are a nice touch. There is still some work to be done, but this course has a lot of potential.

The Ridge is a difficult, very wooded course that has high risk-reward value. Nearly every hole has one or two small gaps that will net you a birdie or upshot look if you commit. If you miss those gaps, you are rolling the dice for whether you will be in the fairway or 50 feet in harsh rough. Although this course is short, it is difficult due to tight gaps and/or elevation on most holes. The signage needs updating, but otherwise it is a fantastic course. Not beginner friendly!
