About the course

Fun for beginners and advanced players; challenging when the OB paths are brought into play. Best if played between 8:30am and 4pm. Keep an eye out for people walking through the park (especially evenings). It is recommended to wear sleeves and pants, slather on sunscreen, and/or bring an umbrella (for sun and potential downpours). A major redesign in 2025 included new baskets and an updated layout. 18 holes playing to 9 different baskets, plus an additional 6 holes across the street playing to 3 more baskets. A weekly league plays every Saturday morning at 8:30am; guests are always welcome! Layouts include the Classic 9, the Full 18, an Alternate 9, and a 24 hole League Layout. Please enjoy and have fun on our beautiful course!

History

Established in 2019, The Saigon Oasis was created with one simple dream: to bring the sport of disc golf to the people of Vietnam. What started with a handful of passionate players and a few portable baskets grew into the country’s first dedicated course, designed to introduce both locals and visitors to the beauty of the game. The name Oasis was chosen for a place of calm and escape amidst the energy of the city. Surrounded by palms, winding paths, and water features, the course offers players both tranquility and adventure. From the very beginning, its founders wanted The Saigon Oasis to be more than just a place to throw discs. It is a place where the flight of a disc cuts through the tropical air, reminding us that the sport thrives wherever passion plants its roots.

Played the tournament layout March 2026. Technical, creative and challenging mando lines/OB winding through rare green space in Saigon. Mostly putters and mids, but a lot of fun to play. You will play better courses, but you won’t meet a better group of locals. Keep your expectations in check and be grateful there’s a spot to play. Strong recommendation for weekly Saturday morning mini - good players and even better people.

Love it. The course is a nice park. Has all kinds of interesting holes. The park is easy to get to by grab / taxi. Has shops for drinks / food. The locals are friendly and will lend you discs if you need. Don’t throw them into the pond like I did🤣 Thanks Ryan for hosting🤝
