About the course

Mix of wooded and open holes. Elevation changes come into play on a few holes. Cement tee pads locations installed. Driftwood Creek Leagues to hold leagues on Sundays at 9am and Monday’s at 5:30pm. ***COURSE HISTORY*** The Disc Golf Course at Pontiac Oaks County Park, affectionately known as ‘The Thorne,’ was established in 2021 by Driftwood Creek Disc Golf Club. In 2025, holes 1-3 were relocated to accommodate a new lakeside paved trail and other park amenities. Additional improvements to the 18-hole course - including replacement of tee pads and updated basket locations - ensure the Pontiac Oaks Disc Golf Course will be a challenging, safe and enjoyable experience for years to come.
