Veteran Hills is a collaboration between Vernon Trails, a non-profit recreational organization, and Viroqua’s local VFW Post 3032. It sits on 40+ acres of private property, accessible for public use, and shares space with other recreational activities like hiking, trail running, winter fat-biking, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing. It has a mix of wooded and open holes, a variety of hole lengths, elevation changes, and multiple tees and baskets on most holes. Baskets are in year round.
The course is built and maintained by volunteers and fully funded by donations. $5 suggested donation to play. Please help keep our course clean🙏🏽.
The VFW on site is open to the public with a full bar and food.

Awesome and well maintained course. I avoid it in the summer time because the rough is ROUGH. Very easy to lose a disc. Fall, winter and early spring are perfect for this course. It's a challenging course no matter what tee position you play.

Pretty hard to beat. Despite being right near the road he spent most of the time in a pretty serene setting tucked away from it. The short walks between the holes makes each hole feel distinct.
There’s some really clever use of elevation to create a challenging course that’s still really fair. There are also short tee pads on all the par fours.
There’s not a lot of great options nearby so what a blessing it is to have this right here
