Brush needs cleared away
@gdwhi2020
Nice course. Very scenic. Tight fairways. Interesting shot shapes. Plays around reservoir with hiking between some holes.
@docquest
Loads of potential, more TLC, regular mowing and some turf tee pads maybe even 9 more holes and this place would be a gem.
@asagipple1
The upkeep better than it was when I played a year ago. I’ll give it that. Still don’t understand the course design and why the fairways have to be so narrow when it’s just grass in the rough and not some sacred native vegetation.
@cartert147
Great challenge; big wood
@cbarnes1989
Worst corse I’ve ever played. Zero course Maintaince.
@gabegiesel
A couple people and I have put a lot of work into the course this summer 5-9 especially, hoping to continue the work this fall, please come try it out. After mowing extensive amounts and alot of course cleanup on the part of a few others the course is playable. Hopefully the city continues to maintain the mowing.
@clint1702
No signs and poorly maintained fairways.
@dasbusch
Great nine holes but could use a bit more land management
@mhoff555
1.5 in 2020 to 4.5! East side of lake 5-9 are as nice as anything you will find in Iowa for wooded shot shaping. 1 is pretty. 2-4 rough is natural/sharp/thick/ivy/parsnip so will be better Nov-March. Gravel tees are a good start as landmarks but not very functional yet. South of lake would be awesome 9 hole addition. Major gold stars to the Fairfield crew for the fairway mowing and cleanup. Amazing effort.
@jennifernicole
This course could benefit from tree clearing & more accurate/updated navigation.
@tonken
this course could be a lot better with simple navigation signage and tee signs. We used the map uploaded but found it difficult to find half the holes still.
@ddille1987
Needs better maintained!
