Very basic.

Challenging and good variety of shots despite no wooded holes. Great course to work on open shots and a couple of ace runs along the way.

Fairways are always mowed. Deer add to the fun.

3/5 - above average
Pros:
-nice variety of holes/distances. Uphill and downhill shots, some light woods, many gaps needing hit
-good variety in distance, from 180’-700+
-plenty of parking and a couple of shelters
-park keeps up with fairways
-nice layout, hole 9 and 18 both end by the parking lot. Course flows well.
-view after hole 4 is nice.
Cons:
-Baskets are old. Hole 9s chains weren’t all attached
-fairways are well kept but everything else can get rough. Grass off the fairways is high and the tree line and bushes can get really thick including thorns
-some teepads are subpar. Hole 8 is short and slopes down. Hole 15s tee faces the wrong direction. Other tees are sloped or cracked.
-pars are outdated. This is reasonably a par 56, with 4 and 18 being the only true par 4s
Harbin is a strong classic course in Cincinnati. It’s not as pretty as some area parks and is definitely dated but it’s that local course that fits well into the rotation of courses a regular player will want to return to.
