Good conditions
Birdie course with lots of elevation and a wide variety of shots. Uphill, downhill, woods, open field. Water comes into play on hole 12 if the river is running high behind the basket. Gets busy in the afternoon during the school year.

This course is a travesty. Beautiful hole design and terrain ruined by lack of signage and maintenance. Funny joke deliberately having hole lengths wrong too. I drove two hours to play and walked off after nine.

Relaxing beginner- intermediate course. Several trees for long tees need trimming.

Needs new tee signs and fairways are a little overgrown in the wooded areas.

If you are trying to play disc golf in Ames I’d probably go to stable run. This isn’t the worst course it just isn’t maintained very well/has Mach 3s/ doesn’t have great signage. However there are some very interesting lines on longs that require a flex forehand in ways that you wont find at other courses. Overall a solid course and look forward to the redesign
