NOW UPDATED TO A FULL 18 HOLES! - The disc golf entrance is a dirt road, about 300 feet past the regular "V.E. and Lydia H. Owens Recreational Park" parking area. Disc golf parking is next to a pond that is stocked for fishing. The course opened in November 2020, and is plotted on land that was previously a traditional golf course.

"It is nice to have a "bomber" course, where you can throw with out substantial punishment. Especially since there are so many technical courses where distance gets you into trouble if it isn't controlled well."

"One of my favorite courses in this part of NC. Lots of long bomber holes and a good amount of shots that require some touch. It does get pretty windy and can get pretty bad if the grass is too tall."

"Scrub grass in fairways is a bit tall. As tick/humidity season rolls in will create unfavorable playing conditions. "
