The World's 100 Most Popular Disc Golf Courses: 2025

Here you can discover which 100 disc golf courses had the most rounds recorded on them with disc golf's most popular app, UDisc, in 2025.

While we've annually revealed the most popular courses in each U.S. state, Canadian provinces and territories, and countries for years, this is the first time we've published a worldwide top 100.

What Does "Most Popular" Mean?

In the context of this post, "most popular" is the same as "most rounds recorded." The UDisc app is the most popular way for disc golfers to record their day-to-day rounds. While far from every round of disc golf is recorded in the app, its stats are the best indicator the game has for courses' popularity in most places around the globe.

What Does It Take to Be a Popular Disc Golf Course?

Very popular courses tend to be very good courses that are situated in accessible locations near large population centers that have a lively disc golf community. Disc golf hot spots like Austin, Texas; Oslo, Norway; Minneapolis, Minnesota, and others have multiple courses in and around them in 2025's top 100 most popular disc golf courses on UDisc.

Additionally, popular disc golf courses usually offer layout options that are fun, not gruelling, for the majority of players, and the majority of disc golfers play non-competitively. Only 13 of last year's 100 most frequently played courses on UDisc did not offer a layout classified as "easy" or "moderate" (as opposed to "challenging" or "very challenging") based on UDisc's disc golf course difficulty rating system.

Perhaps due to upkeep being hard with so much traffic, lack of space in highly-accessible parks, or a combination of these and other factors, relatively few of the world's most popular courses also rank at the tippy top of best courses based on player ratings of their quality. There are, of course, exceptions. For example, three of the 100 best disc golf courses in the world for 2025 (Krokhol, Raptors Knoll, and The Canyons at Dellwood Park) rank in the top 25 of 2025's most popular.

What to Know Before Reading the Stats

Here are important things to know before you dive into the table.

On Where the Stats Came From and Their Meanings

• Free or P2P: Free means a course is open to all and is not listed in the UDisc directory as requiring a fee. P2P is short for "pay-to-play"  and is indicated by $ in the table. $ alone means a course requires a fee to play it. $(D) means donations are encouraged. $(P) means there could be a fee for parking but none for playing the course.
• Disc Golf Rounds Recorded: The number of rounds recorded in 2025 on a course with the UDisc app, the #1 app for disc golfers.
• Layout Difficulties: The layout difficulty rating symbols mean the following:
  

  Easy

  Moderate

  Challenging

  Very challenging

• World Pop. Grade: The "Pop." stands for "popularity." This is a quick and interesting way to compare every course's play total with 2025's most popular disc golf course in the world. If you've ever had a test graded on a curve, it's pretty much the same thing. The course with the most plays in the world set the bar and got a 100. The other courses' "grades" are based on what percentage their play counts are of the highest plays total. For example, if a course has a World Pop. Grade of 20, it means it had 20% of the plays that the world's most popular course did in 2025.
